Following 30 years of public service — working with all three levels of government — and community involvement, I am pursuing a City Council seat because I believe the municipal government offers the greatest opportunity to positively impact people’s everyday lives.
Ward 4 has the potential to become a major driver of economic growth in our City. We need representation at City Hall who can deliver on this potential for development, and at the same time look out for the concerns of our community.
Knocking on doors this past several months, I have heard from Ward 4 residents about the issues that are important to YOU — from ensuring our tax dollars are spent effectively, to photo radar, to excessive speeding on our neighbourhood streets. As your City Councillor, I will ensure that your voice is heard and our Ward gets its due as the diverse, hard-working community we are!
I hope to earn your vote on October 16th. Thank you for your support!
Alison is a principled, diligent, and effective leader. She has both training and experience in fostering job and economic growth by improving infrastructure and generating opportunities. This paired with the integrity and fearlessness she demonstrated by stepping up to co-organize the Women's March earlier this year makes me proud to endorse her as councillor for Ward 4. She will be relentless in her work to make the community a wonderful place for work and life.
